The DWHOS is a wall switch that combines humidity detection and passive infrared (PIR) motion detection to operate the fan and lights in a room. The PIR motion sensor features a 180° field of view to provide up to 600 sq.ft. of coverage area. The sensor has 2 modes and operates lights ON/OFF based on occupancy or vacancy in the area. In occupancy mode, lights turn ON automatically when motion is detected, and turn OFF after no motion has been detected for the pre-selected time delay. In vacancy mode, lights must be turned ON manually, and then will turn OFF automatically after no motion has been detected for the pre-selected time delay. The motion sensor's time delay can easily be adjusted from 10-30 minutes. The humidity sensor operates a fan based on the humidity levels detected in the area. When moisture levels in the air are high, the fan will automatically turn ON, and it will turn OFF again when humidity has returned to normal. This feature is designed to eliminate condensation and prevent the development of mildew and mold in damp areas such as bathrooms, spas, or locker rooms. Monitoring moisture levels with a humidity sensor helps to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable space. This switch is compatible with incandescent, fluorescent, halogen, and LED lights. This device also features an interchangeable face cover that can be replaced with alternative colors (sold separately).
